About Kait
Hi! My name is Kaitie! I live in California, USA and I've been part of the Snail Mail Community since I was 9 years old. It all started with an ad section that came in every issue of my Girls Life magazine- if you were interested in getting a pen pal, you just had to send an index card with the requested information about yourself and a picture. So, I did that. I received my first pen pal and it didn't amount to much, but I was introduced to a world I knew I wanted to be a part of for the long haul.

So, now, over 25 years later, here I am with pen pals, involved with Postcrossing, trading Starbucks cards, collecting stamps and postmarks, and with a sizeable postcard collection as well!

My snail mail adventures take me to new places I wouldn't have gone to if I wasn't seeking out international mail services or domestic postmarks. I continue to have pen pals all over the world and I'm sharing all of this with you!
About This
Website
Write Me
This website is an extension of my snail mail hobby and a way to collectively show, share, and explain it to others, as well as connect with others who are involved with the hobby. You'll find topics that are connected to the Snail Mail community as well such as: books & reading, coffee & tee, and certain aspects of Pop Culture and select fandoms.

Since this is a website that encompasses a community and invites people to join, I'm open to requests and creating content that is most helpful to you. Feel free to send requests below.
Trading & Swapping
If you're interested in swapping to trading with me, please send me a message on Instagram. This will be the best way to get in contact with me and see what I have for trade.

Instagram: @WriteKait

Currently swapping: Starbucks Cards, Hello Kitty Mascots, Stamps, Disney Pins, Disney Merch (mainly Princesses & Stitch), and Hardrock Pins
Postcrossing & Postcard Trades
I don't openly trade or swap postcards, so you will not see me advertising this. I find it to be a process that isn't fun for me and also I have not had great experiences. However, if I have a postcard on this website or social media and you are seeking it, please message me and I will see if we can work out a swap.

The best way to see the postcards I currently have is on Postcrossing at my "sent feed". Chances are I have more than 1 of the postcards I sent. You can also take a look at my Instagram where you will see current postcards I have sent or newly acquired. You can also message me on Instagram for a trade, this will be the best way to get a response from me.
