My thoughts are with the city of Paris and France as a country. I am shocked and still in disblief of what is going on there. I was just sitting on my couch playing a game on my phone when a call from a friend came in about what was going on in Paris. At the time the death toll was 35. After I had talked to my sister about 15 minutes later, the death toll had risen to 60. The death toll is now up to 100 and the terrorists still have hostages. No country or person can ever be prepared for something like this. It is similar to 9/11 in New York. Even a natural earthquake, like what happened in Nepal, is nothing you can prepare for. Luckily our family and friends are in the UK and other parts of Europe, but how safe are they? Time will tell.
